- At a commercial-stage neuroscience biotech, translated physician research into an evidence-led commercial strategy, a clinical investment case that earned Board support for additional pain-relief studies, and a field reimbursement capability
- Helping a pre-commercial biotechnology company build a Medical Affairs and Medical Information portal ahead of launch
- Delivered to an emerging biotech executive team a neurotoxin and movement disorder market analysis and competitive blueprint for their upcoming movement disorder franchise.
- As a fractional commercial leader, led a rapid margin-improvement initiative at an emerging biotech, auditing contracts and vendors to identify $10M in annual savings.
At a global pharmaceutical company, his work included:
- Led a 100-person Medical Information and Scientific Communications organization and drove a digital and modular-component authoring transformation across a $25B+ portfolio, generating $20M+ in savings
- Global Commercial Lead for pre-commercial marketing of a first-in-class therapy now an $8B+ annual global franchise, chairing joint AstraZeneca/BMS strategy and execution forums across the co-marketing and co-promotion alliance
- At loss of exclusivity, led Nexium, the Purple Pill, to $1.023B in reported U.S. sales across 2017–2019, outperforming plan by $300M+ in two consecutive years despite generic competition
