What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files, and local storage is a similar mechanism, that a website can keep on your device. They let a site work properly and remember small pieces of information about your visit, such as a preference you have set.
How we use them
We keep this to a minimum. The Life Sciences Roundtable does not run any analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your browsing data. The only storage we set ourselves is a single entry that remembers your response to our cookie notice, so you are not shown the banner on every visit.
Our site is served through Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider. Cloudflare may set its own operational cookies to protect the site from malicious traffic and keep it available. These are used for security and delivery, not to profile you.

Managing your choices
You can delete or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing the lsr-cookie-consent entry simply causes the notice to appear again on your next visit. Because we run no analytics today, declining does not reduce any tracking, it is recorded so that we would honour that preference if we ever introduced optional cookies in the future.
